Waterkloof Trail, Naukluft

The Waterkloof Trail, a 17km circuit, is a challenging day hike starting from the Naukluft Camp in the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

The trail initially follows the Naukluft River upstream, winding through a narrow gorge with scenic rock pools. Keep an eye out for wildlife like baboons and frogs. As the trail ascends, the landscape opens up to a barren plateau with stunning 360-degree views.

The return journey involves a steep descent along the Cliff Path, followed by a walk through a dry riverbed. The trail ends at the Naukluft Campsite, offering a chance to relax and reflect on the day's adventure.
