Embark on a demanding 13km hike that ascends to a breathtaking 2626 meters above sea level. This strenuous journey begins at Maliba Lodge (2030m) and follows the Upper Route to the serene Black Pool. From there, the trail climbs steadily, offering stunning views of the Three Cascades.
As you reach the summit, you'll encounter a crossroads. The main path leads to remote villages, but the circular route descends the steep valley towards the ventilation shaft. The final stretch takes you back to the lodge via Gate #8 and the picturesque river pool route.
Note: This is a challenging hike, so be prepared for steep ascents, rugged terrain, and potential weather changes.
