Extreme Weather & Water Advisory: The plateau between the Cracks and the Arch offers no shade or natural water sources. During summer months (November to March), temperatures exceed 38°C. Hikers attempting the full 15 km Arch extension must carry a minimum of 3 to 4 litres of water per person and start at first light.
