Cederberg Wilderness Area

The Cederberg Wilderness Area is a vast, rugged landscape north-east of Clanwilliam, known for sculpted sandstone, cedar-scented mountain air, clear winter streams, summer heat and a powerful sense of distance. It is one of the Western Cape’s great walking and climbing landscapes, but it asks visitors to arrive prepared rather than expecting a fully serviced park.
