This 12-kilometer moderate-difficulty trail offers a comprehensive exploration of the Vredefort Dome. As you traverse the ancient landscape, you'll be treated to breathtaking vistas, unique rock formations, and glimpses of the massive impact crater. Bushveld Bliss Trail

For a more leisurely experience, the Bushveld Bliss Trail is the perfect choice. This 5-kilometer easy trail winds through serene bushveld, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The Vredefort Dome is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in South Africa. It is the oldest and largest confirmed impact crater on Earth, formed approximately 2 billion years ago when a massive asteroid collided with the planet.
