Wolwespruit Nature Reserve protects a tranquil stretch of riverine bush on the northern bank of the Vaal River upstream of Bloemhof Dam, in the rural North West near Wolmaransstad. It should not be confused with the urban Wolwespruit trail venue in Pretoria.
