Borakalalo National Park

Borakalalo National Park lies north of Brits, where broad-leafed woodland, acacia country and riverine forest meet the Moretele River and Klipvoor Dam. Its Setswana name is often translated as “place where people relax”, which fits a reserve best experienced at a patient pace: a drive through varied bushveld, time near the water, birding and an overnight stay rather than a rushed search for one animal.
