What to expect
Expect slippery rock after rain, mist, rainforest shade and steep terrain on the more demanding routes. Carry water, a rain layer, footwear with grip and a basic first-aid kit. Sign out and back in as required, and turn around if trail conditions or visibility become unsafe.
The area is important habitat for forest birds and Samango monkeys. Keep a respectful distance from wildlife and do not feed animals.
