Mapungubwe National Park

Mapungubwe National Park in Limpopo is a World Heritage landscape at the meeting of the Limpopo and Shashe rivers, close to Botswana and Zimbabwe. Its wild sandstone ridges, baobabs and riverine forest are inseparable from the story of Mapungubwe, one of southern Africa’s earliest complex kingdoms and a centre of long-distance trade.
