Hike Directions

Start your hike at the Bushmans Nek Reserve. Follow the well-marked path leading to Cedric’s Pool. This is a popular swimming spot, offering a refreshing break and stunning views. After enjoying the tranquility of Cedric’s Pool, continue your ascent towards Tarn Cave. The trail becomes more challenging as you gain elevation. Once you reach Tarn Cave, continue along the ridge, passing Irish Cave (an optional detour), a unique rock formation offering shelter.

After Irish Cave, you'll encounter a jeep track. Follow this track, keeping the mountain range on your right. The track will lead you towards Sehlabathebe Lodge. Return via the same route.

Bushman's Nek is the southern most part of the Maloti Drakensberg Park and incorporates the beautiful Bushman's Nek Valley. Bushman's Nek is bound to captivate your imagination and quench your thirst for outdoor adventure.

The Sehlabathebe National Park is located in the Maloti Mountains in Qacha's Nek District, Lesotho and is part of the Maloti-Drakensberg World Heritage Site.
