The preferred entrance is opposite 129 Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park, where secure parking and trail maps are available.
The official map identifies the Bloubos, Dassie, Beacon, Sunbird, Ruins, Kiepersol, Legae, Tswana, Gifbol and Wildebeest trails, together with connecting paths. Choose your combination from the map and keep track of closing time rather than relying on an arbitrary online loop.
The Bloubos Spruit provides easier lower-level walking, while routes across the koppies add substantially more climbing. Historical and archaeological sites occur within the reserve and should be left undisturbed.
Carry sufficient water and use sun protection. The reserve association specifically advises walking with another person or in a small group.
