Mkhambathi Nature Reserve

Mkhambathi Nature Reserve is a 7,720-hectare Wild Coast landscape between Port Edward and Port St Johns. Its open grasslands are scattered with indigenous forest and wetlands, while the forested gorges of the Msikaba and Mtentu rivers cut deeply through the country. This is Pondoland at its most dramatic: a reserve where a walk can lead to a waterfall, a quiet pool, a vulture-filled gorge or a rocky cove.
