Nossob Rest Camp, centrally located within the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, is nestled in the dry riverbed of the Nossob, amidst a tree savannah landscape. Renowned for its exceptional predator sightings, it serves as an ideal base for exploring the vast Botswana section of the park.
Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
The park is a land of red dunes, sparse scrub, and seasonal migrations of gemsbok, springbok, eland, and blue wildebeest. Imposing camel thorn trees provide shade for the park's iconic black-maned lions and serve as vantage points for leopards and numerous raptors. Access to the park is available through five gates across three countries:
- South Africa: Twee Rivieren gate.
- Namibia: Mata-Mata gate.
- Botswana: Two Rivers, Mabuasehube, and Kaa gates.
