Nqabara Eco River Lodge, nestled on the banks of the Nqabara River in the Dwesa region of the Wild Coast, offers a tranquil escape into nature. Located close to the river mouth and surrounded by 1,800 hectares of natural forest, guests can unwind on 10 kilometers of pristine, unspoiled beaches.
Accommodation:
- Main Lodge: The main lodge accommodates up to 10 guests in three bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, featuring a stove, oven, and fridge-freezer. The spacious living area comprises a dining area and a lounge with comfortable seating and a TV with selected DStv channels. A large outdoor deck provides ample space for relaxation.
- Cottages: Three separate cottages each offer two en-suite bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds. Each cottage also includes a kitchenette with basic self-catering facilities and a lounge area. A large deck area extends from each cottage.
Eco-Friendly Practices:
As a low-impact eco-lodge, Nqabara operates entirely on solar technology. Water is harvested and stored in tanks, and waste is collected and disposed of responsibly in the nearby town of Willowvale.
