Mafube Mountain Retreat, a secluded haven just 30 minutes from Clarens on the R711, is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Nestled amidst a semi-circle of stunning red and yellow sandstone mountains, this tranquil retreat offers a unique wilderness experience.
The retreat offers three self-catering units: the Rondawel, the Chalet, and the Garden Unit. Each unit is fully equipped with a kitchen and braai facilities, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. For added convenience, complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
For larger groups, the Lapa can be used to host small functions. The retreat also offers three small campsites, ideal for groups of up to 12 guests. These campsites are located near the pool and Lapa and offer shared ablution facilities.
Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site amenities, including a swimming pool, a communal Lapa with DStv, and a table tennis table. Please note that while Wi-Fi is available, TV reception is limited to the Lapa due to the mountainous terrain.
