Located in the tranquil Ngonga region of Namibia, Kazondwe Camp offers a unique wilderness experience. Five secluded campsites, each nestled beneath the shade of ancient trees, provide a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts.
Each campsite offers private ablution and washing-up facilities, a covered picnic area, a braai pit, and a unique wood-fired donkey hot water system for both hot water and power. A communal bush pub is available for campers, and for larger groups, the camp can arrange beer on tap.
A short hike up the dune leads to the main lapa, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Kwando floodplains. From this vantage point, guests can marvel at the hippos frolicking in the hippo pool below. As the camp is unfenced, encounters with wildlife are not uncommon. Hippos may wander the lawns, while elephants and other creatures may grace the camp with their presence.
Kazondwe Camp offers a range of activities, including boat cruises and fishing trips, providing opportunities to explore the stunning waterways and abundant wildlife of the region.
