Nestled on the edge of the Tarkastad River, amidst lush lucerne lands and at the foot of the majestic Winterberg mountain range, Braeside Safaris Lodge offers a tranquil farm stay experience. This working sheep and cattle farm, also home to various buck species within the scenic Winterberg Nature Conservancy, provides a perfect escape into nature.

Accommodation:

This spacious farmhouse comfortably accommodates up to ten guests in five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, two others have queen-size beds, and the remaining bedroom contains two single beds. Two bathrooms are equipped with both a bath and a shower, while the other three have a shower, washbasin, and toilet.

Living Area and Kitchen:

The spacious living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The cozy lounge area features comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a TV with DStv. A dining space allows guests to enjoy meals together. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

Outdoor Space and Activities:

Outside, a lovely patio with a lounging corner, an outdoor dining table, and a splash pool provides the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying the farm's ambiance. A wooden deck over the water, complete with seating and a built-in braai, offers another delightful space for gatherings.

Braeside Farm boasts numerous farm tracks ideal for both serious and leisure cycling. Trophy fishing is available on the neighboring Quagga Kirk Farm, and guests have access to three other dams stocked with rainbow trout. Various hiking trails cater to different fitness levels, and safe walking trails allow guests to explore the magnificent mountainous countryside and indigenous vegetation at their own pace.
