Accommodation:

Austrey Lodge features an open-plan design accommodating up to five guests. The unit is furnished with a double bed and a tri-bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.

Facilities:

The cottage includes a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, gas plate stove, kettle, and a selection of cutlery and crockery, catering to your basic self-catering needs.

Experiences:

  • Winter Comfort: Occasional snowfalls make this a perfect winter getaway. Guests can cozy up beside the fireplace and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
  • Outdoor Relaxation: A covered area at the front of the cottage features a deck, a hot tub, and a braai area, offering scenic views of the trout dam.
  • Fishing and Exploration: The trout dam is available for fishing, and guests can explore the farm on foot, trail running, or mountain biking.
  • Bird Watching: Bird-watching enthusiasts will be delighted with sightings of Cape vultures, Black eagles, and occasional glimpses of the Narina trogon and Knysna loeries.
  • Additional Fishing: Several other dams on the farm, stocked with various fish species, are available for fishing at an additional cost.
